Posed Newborn Photography Packages
Newborn sessions occur only in our studio at 4550 Post Oak Place Drive in Houston's Uptown neighborhood. We recommend visiting as early as possible for optimal results. Our preferred dates to see you are in the first 14 days of life, with 5-9 days acting as the most successful time for photographing a new baby. The studio does not offer in-home newborn or family photography sessions.
Full Newborn | $1300 + tax includes three hours of studio time, family, sibling, parent images, and individual newborn portraits. Your baby’s setups include cozy wrapping, naked posing, macro photography, and floor props. Your choice of 40 full-resolution, professionally edited digital files (+ matching black/white edits) are delivered via instant digital download. This package is available to babies up to 21 days new. The session may also be Baby only if this is your preference.
Petite Newborn | $1150 + tax includes up to two hours of studio time. Family, sibling, parent images, and individual newborn portraits. Your baby’s setups include wrapping, naked posing, macro photography, and floor props. Your choice of 25 full-resolution, professionally edited digital files (+ matching black/white edits) are delivered via instant digital download. This package is available to babies up to 21 days new. The session may also be Baby only if this is your preference.
Wrapped Newborn | $750 + tax includes 90 minutes of studio time, and the session is for Baby only. The baby is wrapped during the entire session in three styles of unique and cozy newborn wrapping. Floor props and macro photography are also included. Your choice of 20 full-resolution, professionally edited digital files (+matching black/white edits) are delivered via instant digital download. This package is available to babies up to 30 days new or eight weeks for babies who spent time in the NICU. See a full sample gallery and information about what to expect. Bean Bag Newborn Session at $650 + tax includes 60 minutes of studio time, and the session is for Baby only. Baby is naked the entire time and posed in those oh-so-squishy and curly bean bag poses. One backdrop color of your choice is included, along with accessories such as bonnets or headbands. Your choice of 10 full-resolution, professionally edited digital files (+ matching black/white edits) is delivered via instant digital download. This package is available to babies up to 10 days new. WRAPPED NEWBORN OR BEANBAG PACKAGE FAMILY ADD-ON OF $200 + TAX.
The wrapped newborn and bean bag newborn session are designed for parents who would like a smaller package; however, if you would like to participate in the session, you are welcome to add family, sibling, and parent setups for an additional $200. This includes six more digital files of your choice and 30 more minutes of coverage. The studio provides motherhood and sister wardrobe. For instance, we cover several setups: the entire family, Mom with Baby, Dad with Baby, Sibling with Baby, Mom with the little ones, Dad with the little ones, and more. You may even add grandparents to the session, too. Your gallery is sure to be stunning and truly remarkable. The scheduling calendar allows you to add the upgrade upon scheduling your wrapped newborn or bean bag newborn session. The calendar automatically adds the additional time to your package and the fee to your invoice.

Important Details About Our Houston Posed & Newborn Photography Packages
Twin newborn photography sessions are available M-F BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10:00 A.M. AND 1 P.M. (FINISH SESSION NO LATER THAN 1:00 P.M.) We will not be accepting twins during the months of June - September.
Twin newborn sessions include a $200 fee and an additional 60 minutes/talent. Twin newborn sessions may be any package you like. We split the session between your little ones.
The best time to visit is the first 14 days of life. However, flexible scheduling is available for both full-term births and babies who spend time in the NICU. Always feel like you may contact us for a session. Like you, Kevin and I are parents who value custom photography, and we understand the importance of these images. We promise to do our best to be flexible. We're excited to serve you!
The studio provides all props, designs, accessories, studio wardrobe, and more. All you need to bring is your baby and how you feed Baby. Props, accessories, and all designs are sanitized between use. Our studio has a daily commercial-grade cleaning service. Masks and gloves are worn for each session. Upon booking, a posed newborn prep guide is provided to successfully prepare the Baby for their film debut!
The client closet provides numerous options for newborns, infants, and toddlers, boy tops (up to 7t), shirts and tops for dads, darling knits and outfits for toddler boys and girls, and motherhood gowns. On-location airbrush makeup and hair artistry are available as an add-on, too. We also offer complimentary studio tours and gown fittings and invite you to visit with us so we may assist in styling you.
The studio has partnered with a top-notch professional hair styling and airbrush makeup artist, Annie Williams. Services are available as an add-on to all portrait packages. Our preferred vendor provides on-location services at our studio or, if you prefer, your home.

When booking a professional portrait session, it’s essential to commission a photographer whose work creates a feeling of happiness for you. Simple to understand pricing: full-resolution digital files, released printing rights, all at one flat rate.
Package pricing is upfront and readily available to you to simplify things for new parents! The studio focuses on selling professionally edited, full-resolution digital files and a print release. There are no in-person sales appointments, minimum print orders, or separate session fees. One rate pays for your entire session from start to finish.
Digital files are delivered via instant digital download, so you may swiftly enjoy your images. You may also share your pictures online or the gallery link with family and friends who want to enjoy the professional images. A print release is provided so that you may want your images infinitely.
However, for parents interested in professional-grade prints and products, these are available as an add-on to your package through an online, easy-to-browse shopping guide.
Full versus Petite Newborn Session
Should you feel inclined to participate, the petite and full newborn sessions are larger packages, including naked bean bag posing, cozy wrapping, floor props, macro images, and parent, sibling, and family photos. The ‘petite’ is an all-inclusive rate of $1150 + tax, and the ‘full’ is $1300 + tax.
Below are sample galleries from the ‘full’ or ‘petite’ session options. Family and sibling images are included if you want to participate. However, it is also common for some parents to leave Baby as the star. ‘Full’ newborn sessions include your favorite 40 images, whereas ‘petite’ have your favorite 25. The only difference between these packages is that some parents like more images, such as the full, and some prefer a smaller set, such as the petite.

Wrapped Newborn Session Sample Gallery
This is the most flexible package for new parents to consider, available up to 25 d ays old for full-term births and 6 weeks for babies who spent time in the NICU. The ‘wrapped newborn’ highlights all things sweet and cozy about your bundle of joy. Pricing is an all-inclusive rate of $750 + tax.
If you are interested in naked or unwrapped setups, consider a petite, full, or bean bag newborn session. The baby is wrapped the entire session and this package is designed for babies who spent time in the NICU or parents dislike unwrapped posing
The ‘wrapped newborn session’ features three styles of newborn wrapping macro photography, the up-close details of Baby’s beautiful features. The baby is wrapped the entire session. We offer the best-posed baby photography in Houston. This package is designed for older newborns or perhaps parents who prefer Baby not to be naked in the images.
Bean Bag Newborn Session Sample Gallery
The ‘bean bag newborn’ is the perfect package for parents seeking a smaller set of images. Baby is naked the entire session, so if the wrapped images are not your favorite style of setups, consider this option. Pricing is an all-inclusive rate of $650 + tax.
If you are interested in floor props, wrapping, or more setups, consider a petite, full, or wrapped newborn session. This is a small session designed for parents who would like a handful of images.
The ‘bean bag newborn package’ includes one backdrop color of your choice and accessories such as bonnets, hats, headbands, and accent pieces such as organic textiles. Baby is posed in a variety of squishy, naked poses. Macro images are also photographed, which are the up-close portraits of their unique characteristics, such as lips, nose, hand, profile, toes, and more. This particular package is best for younger newborns, such as 5 to 9 days fresh.

Motherhood wardrobe and Option to add airbrush makeup and artistry to all portrait packages

2022 Updated Studio Wardrobe for Family, Siblings, Parents, and Motherhood | What to Wear
The studio offers a client closet you may utilize for any of your photoshoots. A studio wardrobe is included in all packages for your use.
Motherhood wardrobe features close to 200 dresses in sizes small through 2XL.
For Dad, a small wardrobe features shirts and sweaters for your use in sizes small-large.
For brothers, shirts and sweaters are also available.
Sister wardrobe features adorable dresses and simple tops.
Infant wardrobe for girls and boys is available from newborn - to 24 months.
Please bring a nude bra and a strapless bra if interested in-studio wardrobe for motherhood wardrobe. A camisole is also helpful if you'd like more coverage. If you're a maternity client, feel free to bring a pretty bra or panty set for mothers interested in intimate, boudoir-style maternity photos. You may also do an oversized sweater, boy shorts, etc. There's no obligation; many moms like to do something a little more modern/contemporary.
Please stick to neutrals, earth tones, and muted colors for siblings and Dad. Dad and Brother should wear jeans or khaki pants, and we can add a studio shirt if you wish. If you're bringing clothing from home, Avoid neon colors. Orange, yellow, bright greens or pinks are not favorable. The colors that photograph well are light grey, tans, creams, white, and ivory. Seafoam, navy, mauve, and colors of this sort are lovely, too! Earthtones are beautiful because they photograph well on skin tone; they refer to natural colors such as brown soil, green leaf, cloudy sky, and red sun. We love to see earth tones: rust, marigold, deep navy, burnt sienna brown, terracotta, sage, turmeric, hunter green, and more.
Ideas for Dad: simple button-up, henley shirt, sweater, v-neck, anything without a distracting pattern or neon colors. Slacks, dark wash jeans, and simple ones are best.
Children look lovely in knits, simple cotton dresses, sweaters, jeans, or khaki pants with a solid or neutral-colored top.
Expect to see various tones, textures, and fabrics, all of which are curated to photograph beautifully. We offer diverse options such as, but not limited to, neutrals, grey, ivory, creams, whites, and muted colors and nudes, although there are colorful options. Jewel tones and classic black make an appearance, too. Complimentary gown fittings are welcome. These are available in sizes small through extra-large. An ample sister wardrobe is a new addition, also! Available in sizes three months - 8-T. At this time, our closet includes over 200 dresses. We also offer complimentary gown fittings, so you may visit in advance to look throughout the client's wardrobe. We also have a handful of Dad tops in case of emergencies, though, upon booking, a prep guide is provided. Hence, you have a great idea of what Dad should wear for his portion of the photo shoot. Family photos always include combinations such as Mom with Baby, Dad with Baby, Sibling with Baby, entire family, and you may even add grandparents to the session if you would like, too, as an add-on fee. The listed combinations are included in the ‘petite’ and ‘full’ sessions, though they are an add-on to the ‘wrapped newborn’ and ‘bean bag newborn.’

The studio is filled to the brim with hundreds of luxury and custom newborn props. Color options include neutrals, jewel tones, pastels, and rich or vibrant hues. This not only complements many decor and tastes, though it also encompasses many different skin tones in a city as diverse as Houston.
Darling accessories such as hats, bonnets, caps, headbands, tiebacks, and more adorn your beloved little angel. Floor prop items that are rustic and antique accent the session. Expect to see buckets, bowls, baskets, crates, and more!

The new arrival in the sample gallery below was my son Jack when he was just three days old! You will find muted earth tones such as hunter green, burgundy, taupe, tan, grey, brown, mint, and sage. Also featured are rustic floor props such as a galvanized bucket, wooden trench, antique crate, and hand-crafted miniature bed.
Eight-day old Vivienne
Here is an eight-day-old newborn girl infant session featuring mauve, lavender, plum, cream, ivory, white, peach, and pink. You'll also find a white distressed farmhouse bowl, vintage egg basket, and a plethora of gorgeous organic textiles. This is the 'petite’ or ‘full’ option seen on the pricing guide.
ONLINE PROOFING GALLERIES
All portraiture packages include online proofing in which you view all the gorgeous images from the comfort of your home! Fourteen days after your session takes place, the online gallery is available. Many photos are displayed, so you're sure to walk away with treasured heirlooms. A remarkable and stunning proofing gallery will thoughtfully preserve all the fleeting details of a new life.
HOW TO RESERVE YOUR DUE DATE IN ADVANCE:
To provide a streamlined experience, all appointments are scheduled via the online booking page.
Adding your due date to the calendar helps let me know how many babies to expect. Your due date acts as a placeholder. Once the baby is born, you select a date and time to visit for your session. Our studio has available six days per week.
Click to add your due date to the calendar. A $100 deposit and portraiture agreement secure the placeholder. Your deposit is applied to the overall balance of whichever package you choose.
IF YOUR BABY IS ALREADY BORN:
If the baby is already born, schedule your newborn session now from the available options. Though sessions occur six days per week, you are less likely to have your preferred day and time.
The scheduling page will share how you sign your portraiture contract & pay your $100 deposit, which is applied to the overall balance of the package type you select. Your final balance is due the day of your newborn session.
Scheduling is flexible for NICU babies, and there are session options for older newborns. Always know you may contact me, and I will do my best to accommodate you. Parents sometimes have unique circumstances, and I welcome all questions.
STUDIO HOURS & 6 DAYS PER WEEK AVAILABILITY:
Studio sessions, consultations, and gown fittings occur during the hours below. Sarah and Kevin are a husband and wife team with six days/week availability. Sundays are no longer available as our studio's commercial office building is located within stopped offering air conditioning on Sundays in response to COVID-19.
M-F from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

OUTDOOR, ON-LOCATION PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY HOURS
Outdoor sessions (maternity or family) are scheduled outside studio hours at sunrise and 30 minutes before sunset. Due to the tentative nature of outdoor sessions, these occur at different times throughout the year. Would you please e-mail directly, as our online calendar is for studio appointments only?
We offer ten outdoor appointments per month. If weekends are your preference, please consider booking as early as possible.
