Greetings! Thank you for stopping by my blog! My name is Sarah, and I'm a Houston TX Photographer. I delight in photographing newborn babies, children, maternity for expecting couples and mothers to be, and of course outdoor, natural light family sessions. While all types of photography are gorgeous in their own way, there's something absolutely delightful about photographing a family. Perhaps it's because I'm a mama myself; the time of childhood is sacred and it's important to remember to document this time. Once a year is great. Plus, with Houston being so warm, you can generally shoot outdoors year around, though I do offer studio sessions as well.
Please allow me to introduce the beautiful M family. They have two precious little boys! This is my first time photographing them and it was wonderful meeting them. They're kind, sweet, warm and just truly fun to hang out with. All of my family sessions are super laid back, too. From the moment you inquire, I like for the process to be seamless. I provide a plethora of stunning outdoor locations for you to select from; I assist with outfit consults, and I ask you questions about your family and the dynamic you share in order to pose you to reflect who you are.
For this session, they chose to do a sunset evening appointment. They also picked a Northwest Houston location right off Telge near 290. While Houston does not necessarily have autumnal colors such as red, gold, yellow, etc - we do at least have green foilage to provide a natural setting for your portrats. This ensures the images are timeless, beautiful and classic.
During the session, I kept the posing fun and connected. I encourage you to interact with your kiddos and spouse. Play. Toss them in the air. Snuggle. Cuddle those sweet babies! They're only small for a short amount of time. In the blink of an eye they're growing and changing.
